Salary: £22,000 to £24,800  per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, over 7 days

Martlets Trading Company is looking to recruit an experienced Retail Distribution Centre Manager.

The Retail Distribution Centre Manager plays a key role in sorting, allocating and transporting stock to our shops and leading the warehouse team - this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected local hospice care charity and make a real difference!

Main duties will include:

  • To lead a small team of drivers, stock sorters and volunteers
  • To ensure efficient and safe movement of stock through our warehouse, out to our shops and to customers
  • Responsible for stock sorting and stock control
  • To organise our van drivers to prepare collection/deliveries.

Key skills required:

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Commercially aware, self-motivated and hands on
  • Passion and leadership skills to motivate a team of staff and volunteers to maximise the efficiency of the operation, to give great customer service and to drive profit
  • A sound knowledge of Health & Safety within this environment is essential.
