Get ready Brighton and Hove... Snailspace is here!

After months of preparation, our Snails were installed on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th September, ahead of their first day on the streets on Saturday 15th.

Following on from the hugely successful Snowdogs by the Sea art trail in 2016, Martlets, has once again teamed up with Wild in Art to deliver a mass participation sculpture trail that is great fun for families, artists, and businesses, all whilst raising vital funds for a local charity.

The sculptures can be found throughout Brighton & Hove, highlighting our city’s historical landmarks, architecture and creativity in our vibrant community.

The Snail sculptures that make up our art trail this year resonate so wonderfully with the work we do at Martlets. The Snail encompasses the importance of slowing down and taking time to appreciate the things in life that make us smile. The vibrant Snails across our city, painted by local artists, are a constant reminder to take a moment to enjoy the time we have with the people we share our lives with.
