Coming soon: Our Art Installation for 2018

Following the success of Snowdogs by the Sea we’re pleased to announce we’re doing another installation in 2018!!

We know Snowdogs captured the hearts and minds of the people in Brighton & Hove, they truly fell in love with each and every sculpture. Not only did the Snowdogs manage to raise a fantastic £310,000 for Martlets to provide life changing hospice care they brought together our community as they tracked the pack through the streets of Brighton.

Before the Snowdogs trail even finished people of all ages were asking us if and when we would do another trail. We’re now pleased to say we are hosting another art installation in Autumn 2018.

Imelda Glackin, Chief Executive for Martlets, said: “We are so grateful to the Brighton and Hove community for their enthusiasm throughout the Snowdog campaign. The engagement we have seen from individuals and local businesses has been phenomenal.

We set out to create something that would bring life to the city, inspiring people to get involved with Martlets and to connect with the story of The Snowman and the Snowdog – a tale of loss, love, memories, and kindness at its heart, which mirrors our work at the hospice. The fundraising success we have seen as a result of the art trail has been incredible.”

Speculation has now begun on what the sculpture for our 2018 installation will be….but we aren’t giving anything away until later this year!

Where did those Snowdogs get to?
