Thirteen of our amazing nurses are taking on our KAPOW obstacle course - showing they're also superheroes in their spare time as well as at work!

They’ll be tackling our Superhero themed obstacle run in Preston Park this September by bouncing, sliding and running around the biggest inflatables that Brighton and Hove have ever seen!

Our nurses would like lots of local people to join them on the course as they take on the KAPOW challenge which will includes ten immense inflatables, high-velocity foam cannons, a UV bubble pod and a maze.

Nurse Sacha Walker said, “We’d really like as many superheroes as possible from the city to take part, we know you are out there!  It’s going to be a fantastic fun event and the money raised will help us to continue to provide our life-changing care to our patients and their families.

“If you can’t take part on the day then please do hop online and sponsor us on our JustGiving page.”

Antonia Shepherd from the Martlets’ Fundraising Team said, “This is a race that you’ll never forget! You can sign up as an individual, a team or bring the whole family along.

“Tickets cost £25 for over 16s, £10 for children and £65 for a family of four. Children need to be accompanied by an adult and all entrants must be over 1.2m tall.

“You don’t have to raise sponsorship to enter but, since we’re a charity, it would be great if you could. Every penny raised will help local people as they face some of their toughest times.”
