You can remember someone special by taking part in Martlets’ Pebble Memory Walk. This is a unique event on Hove seafront which is open to anyone who has lost someone and will be led by Martlets’ Chaplain Nicholas Roddis.

The walk will begin by choosing a pebble and writing on it to symbolise your loved one and you will carry your pebble with you as you walk along the promenade to the Peace Statue.

On your return, you and the other walkers will create a shared heart-shaped tribute on the seashore from everyone’s pebbles; which will finally be returned to the sea when the tide comes in.

You will receive a small, white porcelain pebble as a keepsake and you can join us for a tea or coffee at the Big Beach Café after the walk.

If you’re unable to make it on the day but would still like us to add a pebble to our beach tribute then please let us know.

To take part, please make a donation in memory of your loved one(s) or raise sponsorship money. We have suggested a minimum donation amount of £20 and your support will provide patients and their families with the very best care and support at Martlets.

You can do this by completing the ticket form below. You will then need to add a donation once you get to the checkout page.
