Our wish list

Containing a range of gifts and donations you can make from just £5 to over £50,000. The list includes both ongoing service costs and specific capital priorities, such as new or replacement furniture and equipment.

What could your donation pay for?

£5 would buy 1 medical dressing
An essential everyday item for patient care including wound care

£10 would buy ingredients for 5 days’ meals for 1 patient
Our kitchen provides a range of meals for patients

£29 would provide 1 staff uniform
Many of our staff including our nurses are required to wear uniforms

£37 would pay for 1 counselling session
Many families and patients benefit from emotional support especially during bereavement

£56 would pay for 2 OT sessions
Occupational Therapy provides advice and equipment to support safe independent living

£104 would support and train 1 volunteer for 1 year
We depend on over 500 volunteers to support our work including patient care and fundraising

£123 would support 1 patient being nursed at home for 1 day
Our Martlets @ Home service provides hospice and end of life care in people’s own homes

£132 would pay for 4 Physiotherapy sessions
Physiotherapy supports and maximises patients’ strength and movement

£200 would pay for 4 staff to attend 1 of our nursing care courses
Our Education and Training Department delivers regular courses to ensure that our staff have all the knowledge and skills they need

£395 would pay for 1 patient’s care for 1 day on our InPatient Unit
Our InPatient Unit nurses people including providing pain relief, symptom control and terminal care
