Annual Review 2009 - 2010
Welcome to our review of a particulary challenging yet successful year at the Martlets Hospice. We do hope that you will be engaged and inspired by the progress of our activities and their impact on the local people we help. Annual Review 2008 - 2009
The last financial year has been a difficult one for us here at the Hospice, as the UK faced an economic slowdown that would rapidly become a recession, we reported our largest ever operating deficit of £197,538. Despite these difficult conditions staff and volunteers have worked incredibly hard to ensure that there has been no compromise in the quality of our service. They have been fantastically supportive in finding ways to reduce our costs
