It's Back – The Biggest Girls’ Night Out of the Year  - 14th June 2013

Midnight Walkers

Entry has now closed for the Martlets Midnight Walk 2013.

This is the seventh Midnight Walk and in total the amazing women of Brighton & Hove have raised over three quarters of a million pounds for us. Last year you raised an incredible £115,000 and we want to beat that total this year. In fact we want to try and hit a million pounds. Could you help us do it?

You don’t need to be super fit; you just need sensible footwear and a sense of adventure! Both walks start at midnight from Brighton Racecourse and snake through the streets of Brighton & Hove. Marshals will be on hand around the course to ensure no one gets lost and the walk ends with a tasty breakfast.

All walkers will be asked to raise a minimum of £25 in sponsorship and anyone who raises more than £120 in sponsorship will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win a treat at the Thistle Hotel.

  • The route will be marshalled all the way so there is no danger of getting lost. The marshals will direct you where necessary and assist in major road crossing.
  • The marshals are backed up by a professional security company but we ask that you do not go ahead of the front markers and escorts as we cannot guarantee that the route will be marshalled if you do.
  • The full course is 13 miles long.
  • You must register at the beginning, again at the halfway point and on return to the racecourse at the finish.
  • If at any point you feel you cannot continue, we ask that you inform an official marshal.
  • Please take the uphill roads at a pace to suit you and stop when you need to.
