Friday June 15th ... Join Our 2012 Midnight Walk for a Night to Remember

Make 2012 the year you take part in our legendary walk and our biggest fundraiser of the year.

Friday 15th June will be the biggest fundraising night out of the year. Get your friends together and enjoy the atmosphere as you raise vital funds for the hospice. Martlets Hospice relys on fundraising to provide its services; the target for this year's walk is to raise £120,000 which will go directly to fund our patient and family support team - with your help we can do it! 

New this year you can choose either a 6 mile or 13 mile walk in Brighton starting at midnight from Brighton Racecourse taking you around the streets of Brighton & Hove. Marshals will direct you safely around the course. At the end of the walk, you’ll be presented with your medal and enjoy a continental breakfast.

We’re asking walkers to raise a minimum of £25 in sponsorship. But, anyone who raises over £120 in sponsorship will be entered into a prize draw to win £250 in shopping vouchers! All prizes have been kindly donated by Hospice supporters. Can you encourage your family, friends and work colleagues to take part as well, or, to sponsor you? If you are able to help us promote the walk at your workplace, local gym etc then please contact the fundraising office (01273 747455)  and we'll send you some posters/leaflets. 

Since our first midnight walk over 4,000 women have taken part to show their support for those amongst us who need the care offered by the Hospice. Between them they have raised over three quarters of a million pounds. 

Can you do it? Of course you can - all you need is determination and a sense of adventure! It’s always a great night and atmosphere as the women of the City come together to help the Martlets.

In 2012, we’re partnering with St Barnabas House Hospice in Worthing, so you can choose to join their Midnight Walk through Worthing on Saturday 16th June but all the money that you raise will still come to the Martlets Hospice.
