The Martlets@Home nursing team provide specialist care for people who are dying, supporting them at home and enabling them to chose where they want to die. We work alongside community nurses to provide high quality and skilled short term care.
We work in partnership with patients, families, carers and other professionals. Our care is Patient Centred which means we aim to meet individuals care needs, ensuring dignity and privacy. We will do all we can to relieve distressing symptoms including easing pain.
We work in Brighton & Hove and the Havens, offering care from 8am – 9pm, all our services are provided free of charge.
Working alongside the Martlets Care Agency we are able to offer a respite service. This service supports carers living in Brighton & Hove who are looking after somebody that needs full time care and is in the last year of their life.
Accessing Services
Access to the Martlets @ Home service is via referral from the patients GP, District Nurse, the Macmillan Team or other specialist services.
